Hello! Welcome to my blog where I'll be sharing unpredictable ebbs and flows of my Camino pilgrimage on the Camino Frances - Spain - Love having the opportunity to share my experiences and insights with my readers.

I started The Heroine Within with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences on each of the steps that I experienced as I became more and more in touch with my own intuition during One Spanish Summer when I lived in Spain. It became The Heroine's Journey.
What started out as a series of short stories has evolved into a dynamic site with the book, "One Spanish Summer and other Stories from the Road" plus Women's Walking Retreats, a coaching program and a Memoir Writing course for women and men who have their own story to tell. Who is
The Heroine Within?
Outstanding Quality
Our authentic true self (TS) communicates with us through intuition. She is our Heroine Within - our compass for our own lives. On a day-to-day basis, she is the urge to call that person, speak up in meetings, ask for what we want, or look for keys in the left-hand drawer.
At a deeper level, TS, our Heroine Within, is also the source of our deepest desires knowing, and the yearning in our hearts. She is the aching feeling in our solar plexus that drives us to make plans and follow our dreams, leading to a fulfilling life.
When we ignore her call and rely only on others to guide us, we become disconnected and can feel out of sync as we rely only on our egos and logic. We forget that we are spiritual beings with infinite resources and inner wisdom.
When we follow her call, we step into an energy flow. We know this because co-incidences appear far more regularly, opportunities present themselves, things begin to fall into place, and doors open. It seems delightfully magical. We feel able to manifest what we need and realize that we are tapped into something Divine.
It's an ongoing quest to listen and have the curiosity and courage to follow her call.
That's what this blog is all about.
